Shipping Office Assistant
Location: Hattiesburg, MS, 39401
Job Description:
The Shipping Office Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the shipping department. This includes but is not limited to:
- Preparing shipping documents and labels
- Assisting with inventory management
- Communicating with carriers and customers regarding shipment status
- Assisting with packing and loading of shipments
- Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a shipping or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
